Accessibility Statement

PalmSol wants everyone who visits palmsol.com to be able to learn about our services and get in touch with us, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more usable for people with a wide range of disabilities.

We consider this site partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. That means some parts of the site may not yet fully meet the standard. We are working to close those gaps.

What we’ve done

  • Descriptive alternative text on informational images, including photos, partner logos, and our founder photo
  • A logical heading structure on every page, with one main heading per page
  • Labeled fields on our contact form
  • Text labels on icon-only links and buttons, such as our social media links and the mobile menu button
  • A page language declared for screen readers
  • A “skip to main content” link on every page, so keyboard users can bypass the header menu
  • Page regions marked up for assistive technology, including a main content area
  • Layouts that adapt to phones, tablets, and desktop screens and that can be zoomed
  • Regular automated testing with Google Lighthouse, which checks for common accessibility issues

Known limitations

Automated testing catches only some accessibility problems, and we have not yet completed a full manual audit with assistive technology. Areas we know need attention or may not fully conform include:

  • Mobile menu: The mobile menu button does not yet announce whether the menu is open or closed to screen readers.
  • Third-party content: Links to external sites, such as our social media profiles and partner websites, lead to content we don’t control and that may not meet the same standard.

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days.

Ongoing review

We review this site for accessibility when we publish new pages and as part of our regular site maintenance, and we update this statement as things change.
