With 30+ offices spread across four states, the client had no centralized way to enforce security policy on the devices used by clinical and administrative staff. Each office managed its own machines independently, patch levels drifted between locations, and there was no way to remotely lock or wipe a lost or stolen device — a real exposure for a healthcare business handling protected health information.
We designed the Microsoft Intune framework and rolled it out at the client's initial offices, building conditional access and compliance policies tied to Entra ID, standardizing security baselines, and enabling remote lock and wipe for lost or compromised hardware. With the framework proven and documented, we set the stage for the client's internal IT team to carry the same office-by-office process across the remaining locations.
This is an ongoing project — the client's internal IT team is now rolling out the same standardized compliance framework to the remaining offices. Devices already enrolled are managed from one console with patch and configuration drift eliminated, and remote lock and wipe available the moment a device is lost or compromised.
